Here’s how it works:

• The Teamspect software will propose a series of small gatherings (i.e. Microevents) to bring your employees together and help them get to know each other better, enhance trust, and build empathy.
• In its simplest form, these gatherings are lunches. Groups of 4 people invited to have lunch with each other.
• During that lunch, they will get to know each other better. How often does someone from finance sit down with someone in sales? How often does someone from marketing sit down with someone from engineering? The Teamspect software takes care of all of the logistics, including proposing groupings of people designed to optimize the new connections made in the organization, across departments.
• Teamspect sends out the invitations automatically, tracks the connections that are made, and gathers feedback to let you know how things are going.

Getting started is simple:

1. Go to the Self-Registration Page
2. Upload your list of employees - we need some basic information including name, email, department. We bet you are concerned about uploading this information. Teamspect vows to protect this information and we will NEVER use this information outside of the Teamspect product. Please see our Privacy Statement for more reassurance.
3. Decide if you want the lunch gatherings to be subsidized by you. For example, you can decide if you want to pay $20/person for your team to go out to eat. Or, you can simply suggest they get together on their own.
4. Teamspect will begin to generate lunch invitations once per week for groups of 4 team members. By design, every employee will be invited to a lunch roughly 1 time every 3 months (i.e. once per Quarter).
5. You will be notified each time invitations are being generated, and you will have a chance to review and approve.
6. Finally, feedback will be gathered from each group after their lunch. You will be able to review that feedback to keep a pulse on how the lunches are going.

If you need more features, such as the ability to create multiple campaigns, focus campaigns on specific teams, customized invitations, pre-defined activities for your gatherings, etc. you will want to look at the full version of Teamspect. Teamspect Express is a quick and easy way to get started actively building stronger teams, and best of all, it’s free. Teamspect helps bring your team members together in new ways. It is designed to build new bridges across your departments by carefully selecting the groups based on history.

When selecting the members of each group event, Teamspect considers both the Department and Location. The team members are selected from the same location, but mostly different departments. This makes it easy for the members to get together, but also maximizes the cross-department team-building.

When you register your company in Teamspect Express, you will be considered the “Organizer”, and will be the one responsible for reviewing and approving the events proposed. You are in full control. You will receive emails letting you know what group events are being proposed, and you can approve or decline from there. The first events will be proposed immediately after you have uploaded the necessary information.
